I‘m usually not the type to put my business out there, i have been going through a hard time and i finally feel like i made the decision i needed to move forward in life. Sometimes you think saving something will make it better or that the situation will change, when in reality you are just lieing to yourself. Once things or people are set on their ways there is no changing it or them. Sometimes the one who has to make the decision is you. Everyone can give you advise try to lead you in the right direction but untill you have had enough or open your own eyes you won’t listen. I learned that you should honestly love and respect yourself, if you aren’t happy no one around you will be happy, and if something is unhealthy it won’t work. You must move on. I believe things happen for a reason. Sometime you lie to yourself hoping things will get better, or things will change or if you ignore it, it will just go away, but that doesn’t ever happen. Life is too short and you should enjoy it, not be misarable. It’s hard but i will get through it.

Going through a hard time, don’t know how i’ll get through it but i will. I guess things happen for a reason right? Just need some time for myself.

So i have been extremely overwhelmed on what i needed to finish up in my room. It’s a work in progress. It’s important to me because this is where i spend most of my time …. besides w/friends or boyfriend but this is my room to relax and get creative as well because i use it as part my working area or studio whatever you want to call it. My room is a master bedroom so it’s pretty roomy to fit everything i need. So lately little by little i have been collecting little pieces of inspo to decide how i want the room to be. Here are a few things i have found across the web that i am loving and thinking of adding to my room. Some not so expensive considering i will be ordering most from Ikea, like i usually do i love their stuff.

Image 1: I love the idea of how over this desk are the bulletin boards and shelving area, there is a lot going on without looking too cluttered and you have extra shelf/storage space on top for pictures or photo boxes etc. Things that i can have easy access too. Got this idea from pottery barn.

As if last snow fall wasn’t bad enough out here in NYC, this is far worst. I don’t care much for snow but when it interferes with my plans then i get annoyed. I wanted to go out this weekend and do something fun …. i guess that’s not happening since it will be snowing all weekend! I don’t even want to take a peek at my car under that snow. Just the thought of having to shovel it out makes me go nuts.

I guess now i have more time to catch up on the important things which is cool i guess and catch up on some reading. Look what i found peaking out my window, the oh so famous NYC Pigeon and just have a look at our snow, although i won’t lie it isn’t as bad as other states, but for NYC with the crowded streets and narrow streets with tons of cars, it makes it difficult to travel around here.

I ordered the Nook’s Back Cases in the Grapefruit color and i <3 it so much, so me! I also ordered the Lyra Light along with it for my hard to see night time reading. I was impressed, they both were just as described on the website and the back frame case for the nook feels exactly and looks exactly like the original gray back cover it comes with. You can switch them up if you’re tired of the colors. The Lyra Light is really bright, i was surprised. Although i don’t think it’s a sturdy clip on the Nook. It does it’s purpose though as long as you don’t move around or swing your Nook around with the Lyra Light on it, I should see in no big deal of it coming off the Nook. I just thought it would grip better no matter what you did while it was attatched to the Nook. But it serves it’s purpose well i guess.

So i decided to do a brief review on my nook ereader just so you can take a look. I’m starting to like this video blogging thing going on . It’s fun! Now i understand why people like it and get used to it lol. I didn’t want to get too much into details because there are already a lot of youtube videos out there showing you how to work the navigation etc. So i kept it brief.

Some cases and extras i would like to get for my Nook one day, below are the back cases i spoke about. ….

I‘ve been messing constantly with my Nook Ereader because of course, every time i receive a new electronic i try to find the best of everything for it and i like to customize it to my needs. I know i am a geek. So lately i have been working on converting my ebook files so they are viewed better on my Ereader as well as making some custom wallpapers. I thought i shall share for you Kindle/Nook owners who want some new wallpapers, I’m not sure if Kindle has a wallpaper feature but if it does i am sure you can use these. It’s weird cause i hardly know of any good websites to get wallpaper, so i made some with some custom brushes/shapes i had in photoshop. Nothing huge just to have a change of look on my device when i feel like it , to save them just click and right click and save image/save file as.

I will be creating more for the Nook and iPhone and whatever else i feel like customizing . So do i love it? I <3 it to the fullest. It is something that will be attached to me like another body limb just like my iPhone. Never leave home without it! It honestly took some time getting use to the navigation and after i got use to it i was good to go. Now if only they can add RSS Feeds to the daily section, then it would be perfect! Or maybe you can? Someone hack it already!
